Sina Mohammad-Taheri

Hello, welcome to my website!

I am a postdoctoral fellow, at the department of Mathematics and Statistics of Concordia University in Montréal, Canada, working with Simone Brugiapaglia (Concordia University) and Ben Adcock (Simone Fraser University). I also did my PhD at the same department supervised by Simone. Before mathematics, I graduated in masters of bio-electrical engineering from the department of biomedical engineering at Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran, supervised by Mohammad-Ali Masnadi-Shirazi.

My research broadly includes mathematical foundations of signal processing and machine learning, motivated by concrete applications, especially in health and biomedics. Particularly

• Compressive sensing and sparse recovery,
• Mathematics of neural networks,
• Biomedical signal processing.
